Xmas Meal 2005

Here are the full details of the Christmas meal for this year. With many thanks to Stuart Allan for organising this for us (again).

7pm for 7.30pm
£20 Per Person

The event is very much open to friends and family. There are limited places, so book early. We require a minimum £10 deposit per place, and the balance must be paid by the day before the event. Try to help us out by letting us know asap, and let us know if you definitely can’t or won’t come. Speak to the Social Committee, your team captain or contact us by email.

Mild Mushroom Gratin

Mushrooms sautéed with
sherry in filo pastry tout with

With granary toast and Juniper
dressed salad

Home Cured Salmon

On fresh leaves with a caper mayonnaise

Winter Vegetable Broth

Chilled Ogen Melon

Served with a homemade lychee and mandarin sorbet

Goats Cheese & Toasted Pine Nut Salad

With pesto dressing

Main Course

Roasted Goosnargh Turkey

With traditional trimmings

Pot Roasted Guinea Fowl

In a rich gravy with mushroom tarragon and smoked bacon

Lemon Sole

Rolled with a thai prawn & sesame mousse &
served with a coconut fish sauce

Lamb Rump

On roasted chestnuts and roast garlic with a Mint and
rosemary jus

Applewood Smoked Cheese Hash Brown

Served on buttered spinach with sautéed mushrooms
and hollandaise sauce

A selection of homemade desserts, ice creams and sorbets
